Blog #21  -  31 January 2014    (My stitching for Ellen's visit)

Blog #21

Friday,  31 January 2014 ~

It has been many years since I organised a special time for needleworkers to meet a gifted needlework designer and tutor
for them to spend a day or tow indulging in our passion for needlework whilst learning new techniques or stitches,
gleaning tips for finishing a project and stitching one of the designers designs - very often an exclusive design.

And so, it is with an inner excitement and sense of anticipation that I am looking forward to the day with Ellen Chester
of  With My Needle  when she will be teaching her amazing piece, "Fruit of the Vine Sampler Huswif".

Over the past few weeks I have been stitching a couple of Ellen's other designs as I plan to have a display of stitched models
of some of her designs beside the basket that will contain all of her designs that are available for purchase.
