Blog #8  -  1 July 2013  :  Below     (A frosty morning)

Blog #8

Thursday, 18 July 2013 ~

Another frosty morning this morning - the fourth in a row - but the frost not as severe as previous mornings.  It's going to be another glorious day.

Sincerely hope you too are going to have / are having / have had a lovely day.

Looking out our kitchen window.

From the condensation on the inside of the window pane
it shows it was cold inside the house as well as out!

Prior to these frosty days, had five days of bitterly cold, miserable, rainy days and nights.

Sadly, twin lambs were born overnight on one of these bleak nights and when Keith was checking the stock the following morning, they were not in a very good condition.  Despite warm milk, being wrapped in blankets and placed in front of a heater in the shed - they died.

As for all the other little lambs born previously - they are bouncing all over the paddock.

Here are some photos of them
(taken after the frost had gone!)

Bye for now.     Sherelyn
